At the UNSW School of Education, we continue to honour UNSW’s longstanding vision to make education accessible to all. With programs offered across a broad range of disciplines, we seek to expand our teacher education programs across NSW and abroad. These programs combine the academic rigour of a Top 20 Global University with the practical and localised expertise of experienced school-based educators who serve as our valued collaborators.

We’re the preferred provider of initial teacher education in NSW, with the greatest number of students in NSW listing us as their first preference. We also have the highest average ATARS of any initial teacher education program in Australia. Our degrees give you foundational knowledge in teacher education, with the opportunity to specialise in your area of interest.
