The UNSW School of Education now offers a way for education professionals to expand their knowledge and advance their career in less time and with increased flexibility.

Micro-credentials enable you to convert one of our accredited professional learning courses into 6 Units of Credit (UOC) which can be used towards a postgraduate degree in Education. You’ll apply what you‘ve learned from your professional learning course, engage with online resources and complete two assessments to demonstrate your learning. Upon successful entry to one of our postgraduate programs, you can use this credit to accelerate your studies and complete a Master of Education or Graduate Certificate in less time.

Explore the benefits of lifelong learning

Micro-credentials make it easier to progress into postgraduate study to support lifelong learning, engagement and professional development. We offer flexible study options so you can organise your studies around full-time employment and create a timetable and schedule that works for you.

The UNSW School of Education is a leader in education and the development of education professionals. Our Micro-credentials aim to facilitate your progression into a masters or graduate certificate, where you’ll solidify your expertise and advance your career.

Professional learning programs at UNSW carrying Micro-credentials are endorsed by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Our Micro-credentials are subject to the same rigour and standards as our postgraduate award courses.
