About the course

Immersive technologies are reshaping how we learn

Immersive technologies are rapidly transforming education and training. Understanding how to apply these technologies is essential for creating effective, engaging simulations that enhance learning and help professionals stay current and relevant in today’s learning landscape.

This short course, led by Dr. Gary Eves, introduces the use of virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality in education and training. It covers the core concepts, applications and interfaces that enable immersive environments. You will learn how to design, develop and evaluate immersive solutions for simulation-based learning. The course focuses on creating safe, repeatable and engaging training experiences. By the end, you will understand how to apply immersive technology effectively to meet learning objectives and measure success.
