Career Accelerator, UNSW Business School has been named a finalist for the Award for Outstanding Careers Service at the 2026 AAGE Graduate Recruitment Industry Awards.

The recognition highlights Career Accelerator’s work to prepare students for a rapidly changing world of work, including its innovation in embedding responsible AI capability development into Work Integrated Learning (WIL) at scale.

As artificial intelligence reshapes how work is performed across industries, students need more than access to AI tools. They need opportunities to apply AI responsibly in professional contexts, exercise judgement, evaluate outputs, recognise limitations and remain accountable for AI-assisted work. Career Accelerator has responded by integrating AI capability development into authentic industry experiences, helping students build the confidence and capability to work effectively alongside AI. Students apply AI within real industry projects while strengthening the human capabilities employers continue to value, including communication, critical thinking, collaboration, ethical decision-making and professional judgement.

For UNSW Business School, the finalist recognition reflects a broader commitment to future-focused education and employability. It aligns with the School’s focus on developing graduates who can contribute meaningfully to organisations and communities, and with UNSW’s commitment to equipping students with future-ready skills.

“This recognition is a wonderful reflection of the Career Accelerator team’s work and the trusted relationships we have built with students, employers, alumni and industry partners. We are proud to be developing future-ready graduates who can combine AI capability with human judgement, professional confidence and a strong sense of responsibility.”
