The UNSW Business School, in partnership with Practera, is offering students the opportunity to work on a 2-week real-world business project. The Dealbook program connects student teams with real clients to undertake a funding analysis for an Australian start-up or not-for-profit organisation. 

Students analyse current and emerging funding sources for the client’s business and prepare a report that will outline insights and recommendations on the top funding opportunities that the organisation should explore. 

Students will act as business consultants to complete a report with feedback provided along the way. Students will be required to commit to 25 hours in total over the 2-week experience. Student teams can meet in person or collaborate online to complete the project. 

As a student consultant in this program, you'll:  

  • Work in a team with other students from UNSW 
  • Respond to a brief provided by a real client 
  • Work with your allocated team to conduct a market analysis and outline insights on the top funding opportunities 
  • Develop real world professional skills

Dealbook is open to all UNSW Business School students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Career Accelerator: Essentials modules must be completed prior to enrolment, log in using student-enrolment key: Career_Accelerator.
