UNSW Business School, in partnership with Practera and Study NSW, is offering the unique opportunity to work on a business project experience with a NSW Government agency, NGO or private enterprise. 

The Global Scope Business Project gives you the opportunity to address current business challenges, be coached by industry mentors, enhance your business capabilities and expand your professional network. 

You’ll meet weekly with your project client, and work in a small team both online and in person. You’ll need to contribute approximately 50 hours across the three-week project.  

  • As a student consultant in this program, you will:

    • Work with NSW Government departments/ Corporates/ Startups
    • Develop networks with leaders, project clients, industry mentors and management consultants
    • Work with diverse teams to create an innovative business proposition
    • Learn applied business skills in industry
    • Develop real world professional skills

  • Global Scope is open to all UNSW Business School students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. 

    To be eligible, you must have completed the Career Accelerator: Essentials modules prior to enrolment, and at least one of the Business Experience projects (DealbookGlobal Trade AcceleratorSustainable ImpactSocial Media Strategy or Business Opportunity Accelerator).     You’ll also need to be in Sydney for the duration of the program in order to meet with your team and project client and industry mentor.

  • This is an extra-curricular program. To gain the official certification, you must complete:

    • Compulsory pre-program information session
    • The 50-hour time commitment
    • Draft market research and insights report submission
    • Final report submission
    • Final Presentation
    • Student feedback survey
