Industry Consulting Project (COMM2233)

Industry Consulting Project (COMM2233) offers students the opportunity to work in small consulting teams. 

Students will undertake a combination of company visits, lectures and mentoring sessions which will create the opportunities to put theory into practice and help solve genuine business issues. 

COMM2233 is currently scheduled for face-to-face delivery, on campus, with social distancing measures in place. If the situation changes, we may need to convert to online delivery at short notice. 

This course is offered in Term 1, 2 and 3.

The selection criteria are:

  • completed 48UoC within Business, including compulsory core subjects, by course commencement
  • academic merit (a high WAM is desirable, minimum WAM of 65)
  • have room in their degree for this course
  • have NOT completed DIPP1510, REGZ1510
  • have NOT completed COMM2222 Industry Consulting Project
  • are in good academic standing · have completed Career Accelerator: Essentials OR COMM1999 myBCom First Year Portfolio

  • are not enrolled in the Co-op Program
  • have an up-to-date LinkedIn profile with professional photo

This course may count as a UNSW Business School Free Elective OR as a major elective within some schools. It’s recommended you complete a progression check prior to enrolling.

As enrolment is restricted you can’t enrol yourself into this course. The UNSW Business School will enrol eligible students who have been notified of their acceptance into this course.

NOTE: Students are required to attend 100% of all learning activities and workshops, in addition to 100% of all mentor meetings.

Assessment is satisfactory/unsatisfactory according to the standard UNSW scale.
