UNSW’s environmental sustainability program is coordinated by the Environmental Sustainability unit within Estate Management in the Division of Operations, in partnership with teams across Estate Management and UNSW faculties and divisions. 

Faculty-led working groups provide interested students and staff with the opportunity to contribute to sustainability initiatives.  

Estates Portfolio Board (EPB) endorses the Environmental Sustainability Plan and provides oversight to ensure that associated activities are effectively implemented and are coordinated. The University Management Board ultimately approves the Environmental Sustainability Plan.
