Prior to academia my career included professional roles at UNSW as Sustainability Director, Director for Safety and Wellbeing, and Legal Counsel. I’ve also worked as a Legal Counsel at Deloitte, a solicitor in plaintiff employment and personal injury law with Turner Freeman Lawyers, as a trade union official with the LHMU (now the United Workers Union), a legal writer with CCH and university tutor at the University of Sydney. I served on UNSW University Council and the UNSW Audit Committee from 2014-2020 and on the board of Arc from 2017-2023, UNSW’s not-for profit student organisation.
