UNSW Art & Design is in the final throws of mounting our largest and most multi-dimensional exhibition – The ANNUAL.

Each year a new generation of artists, designers and multimedia practitioners faces the culminating moment of their graduation from university. It’s a confronting and exciting time. After years of honing skills and expertise, each student selects one piece of work to put on public exhibit.   

Next week, more than 300 final year students will be showcased in the ANNUAL 14 exhibition. They come from different backgrounds and hold different interests. They explore different themes using a great number of mediums. However, as varied as they and their modes of expression may be, they are united in representing the graduating cohort of 2014 and together they give the public a glimpse at the future of art and design practice.

We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating this rite of passage with our students. We know that in the future you too might be one of our ANNUAL exhibitors, which means you will be on the brink of an exciting future as a creative practitioner. As such we would like to show you a few of your predecessors and highlight artists and designers to look out for in this year’s show.
