​​Professor Renee Adams has been appointed as Editor of Management Science, a scholarly journal that publishes scientific research on the practice of management.

A prestigious appointment for an Australian academic, Professor Adams was previously an Associate Editor for the journal, which publishes research on all aspects of management related to strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, information technology, and organisations.

“In the world of Business Schools, this is almost akin to being appointed an editor of Science or Nature”, says Professor James Morley, Associate Dean of the UNSW Business School. “This appointment as an editor for one of the top business journals in the world is very prestigious, and Professor Adams is well deserving of this honour."

Management Science is an A* and FT45 ranked journal, dedicated to analysing and improving our understanding of management. This means all aspects of management as well as all functional areas of business, such as accounting, finance, marketing, and operations. 

The UNSW Business School has many academics on the editorial board of journals. Professor Richard Holden, Editor of the Journal of Law and Economics, an A* journal. Associate Editors of A* journals include James Morley (Journal of Business & Economic Statistics and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control); Michael Keane and Robert Kohn (Journal of Econometrics); and Ron Masulis (Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis).
