Associate Professor Lisa Alexander receives WMO award.

Lisa Alexander has been awarded the 2017/18 World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Commission for Climatology Outstanding Service award. Lisa has worked with the WMO for many years, through the Expert Team on Climate Change and Detection Indices (ETCCDI) as well as the Expert Team on Sector-specific Climate Indices (ET-SCI). This collaboration has in part lead to significant contributions to the IPCC in the field of climate extremes. This award is only given to two recipients every four years. Well done Lisa!
