Cryptocurrencies, Fintech, and financial disruptions examined at upcoming conference

Leading academics and industry professionals to examine current trends and risks.

The Financial Services and Technology: Financial Inclusion and Stability conference will be held at UNSW Sydney on Monday 5^th February. 

The conference, hosted by the Institute of Global Finance (UNSW Business School) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) will examine innovation in financial services.

Topics include: cryptocurrencies, P2P payments, mobile, the Balkanisation of payment "tokens", Fintech, financial disruptions, crime risk, and financial risk in the 21^st century, as well as broader issues such as deregulation, regulation, governance and compliance.

ADB's Vice President for Knowledge Management Bambang Susantono, and Cyn-Young Park, Director of Regional Cooperation and Integration, will launch the latest ADB Report on Asian Economic Integration.
