Chris Tisdell
Professor Chris Tisdell has been selected as a Visiting Fellow for Teaching and Learning at his alma mater.

The Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation at the University of Queensland runs a prestigious Visiting Fellows program which aims to engage exceptional academics who can contribute to the work of the Institute, while enriching its intellectual and research activities.

Last year's three Visiting Fellows hailed from universities in Canada and the U.S.

Visiting Fellows are provided with support and resources during their stint, and are given the opportunity to interact with a thriving intellectual community in the fields of teaching and learning. They are also requested to delliver a public seminar and to be available for consultations.

Professor Tisdell will be performing his Fellowship over a two-week period in October.

Professor Tisdell has been recognised for his leadership in the areas of learning and teaching several times. Among his honours, he was presented a national Award for Teaching Excellence in the 2014 Australian Awards for University Teaching, and was one of 15 inaugural UNSW Scientia Education Fellows, recognised as exceptional educators, selected in late 2016.
