Dr Natasha Cortis and Dr Abigail Powell, two researchers from UNSW Sydney, have been awarded the Human Service Organizations: Management, Leadership & Governance Mary Parket Follette Award for 2018.

Their article, Working time in public, private, and non-profit organizations: What influences prospects for employee control?, received the award for its "outstanding theory-informed research". The article assesses which human service context provides employees with the best opportunities to control their work schedules and the impact this has on work-life balance.

Natasha is a Senior Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre at UNSW. Abigail is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact, also at UNSW.
