AGSM @ UNSW Business School has ranked 42nd in the QS 2020 Global MBA Rankings.

This result places AGSM in the top 17% of global MBA programs in an elite group of 240 schools ranked on key indicators including employability, entrepreneurship, alumni outcomes, 10 year return on investment, diversity and thought leadership. AGSM scored higher than global mean scores in all five indicators.

“AGSM has again performed strongly in highly-regarded international rankings,” said Nick Wailes, AGSM Director and Deputy Dean UNSW Business School. “This result, combined with being recently ranked 8th in the world in the 2019 Forbes Global MBA Rankings cements our position as one of the world’s leading schools of management.”

Of the 14 schools in Australia and New Zealand that participated in the QS rankings, AGSM ranked equal first in Diversity and second in Employability, Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes, and Thought Leadership.

“International rankings give us an indication of our performance compared to other leading global schools of management, and help us to continuously improve,” said Wailes.

“We place a significant emphasis on the unique value proposition we offer MBA candidates,” he said, “We are creating a culture of diversity and inclusion in our programs – our full-time 2020 MBA cohort is gender balanced (50% women and 50% men) – one of only five MBA schools internationally to achieve this,” he said. “We’re proud to see our strategic focus reflected in the rankings.”
