The UNSW Cricket Club have a big weekend of games ahead and the support of the UNSW sporting community is sure to help them across the line.
The undefeated Poidevin-Gray Shield side (Under 21s) will provide the curtain raiser, playing a T20 at 10am. The team is looking to go four from four this season when they take on Sutherland, who are currently sitting just below them on the ladder.
Second up at 2:30pm is Round 8 of the Kingsgrove Sports First Grade T20 Cup match including the likes of Gilkes, Burgess, Attenborough, White and McLean against Sutherland’s Dwarshuis and Fallins. Sutherland are marginally ahead of UNSW, sitting at sixth position on the ladder to UNSW's seventh and it's sure to be a cracker of a match.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase, with tunes and beer flowing throughout the day.
And all five grades will be in action on Saturday, with the teams taking on the one-day round against Eastern Suburbs. Second Grade will be keeping the home fires burning at David Phillips South, while First Grade make the long trip to Waverley Oval as the away team.
