Last week the School hosted the 42nd Australasian Conference on Combinatorial Mathematics and Combinatorial Computing (42ACCMCC). This is the second time UNSW has hosted a conference in this series, with 36ACCMCC held here in 2012.
There were 121 participants from 23 countries, who heard great talks from nine invited speakers, and 81 contributed talks. Luckily the smoke haze cleared in time for the Wednesday afternoon excursion, with some participants walking the coastal path from Coogee to Bondi, and others taking the ferry to Manly then walking along to a lookout at the North Head of Sydney Harbour.
The conference was organised by members of the Combinatorics group, together with colleagues from the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
