Two of our undergraduate students have been selected for New Colombo Plan Scholarships and will undertake internships in Singapore in 2020.
Next year, the prestigious program will support 125 Australian undergraduate students with long-term scholarships in 20 host locations across the Indo-Pacific. Students will undertake internships across a range of areas including social development, law, medicine, and mathematics.
Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics/Engineering student Aditya Ganguly, who is also a UNSW Science (Maths) Ambassador, will commence an internship in the field of data science and artificial intelligence via a study program at the National University of Singapore.
Bachelor of Science/Music student Alice Hu will embark on an internship with the Ministry of Education as a Music and Mathematics Assistant Teacher, also via the National University of Singapore.
