AGSM @ UNSW Business School has launched AGSM Virtual Learning Short Courses, a suite of practical and interactive learning experiences that equip leaders with practical knowledge and skills that can be immediately applied to their organisations.

The Virtual Short Courses are designed to equip managers and leaders to address the unprecedented disruption impacting people and organisations today. As they navigate increasing complexity and ambiguity, innovation needs to be an adaptable mindset and a practice that is embedded across your team, business unit or organisation.

Data is becoming the most critical asset in any industry and being a data-driven organisation is one of the most relevant strategies for organisations to develop and innovate.

Led by expert faculty and industry practitioners, the new suite of “Innovation” Virtual Learning Courses will help you to make informed decisions, address challenges in your organisation, build a competitive advantage, and achieve your business outcomes in a new flexible workplace environment.

“According to IDC, the amount of data will grow from 33 zettabytes in 2018 to 175 by 2025. Nearly 30% of the world’s data will need real-time processing,” said Jose Curto Diaz, Adjunct Faculty Member for AGSM @ UNSW Business School and Program Director for the Developing Data Strategy Virtual Learning Course.

“Is your organisation ready to generate value from your digital data?, Curto asked. “Managers need to understand  what data is being produced and how they can use this data to make informed decisions for their business by building a competitive advantage to achieve your business outcomes,” he said.

Our virtual courses deliver the best of AGSM leadership knowledge, expertise, and experience in an online format, allowing clients the ability to develop the skills need to thrive in today’s current market. Drawing on AGSM’s extensive experience delivering Australia's #1 Online MBA program, AGSM Short Courses has designed highly practical, interactive, and unique learning experiences.

“The length of each course is approximately 14 hours over a two-week period. The curated learning experience allows students to learn actionable frameworks that will help them to ignite their data strategies,” said Curto.

Participants take part in live virtual workshops, action learning, and coaching designed to deliver immediate, measurable and enduring outcomes.

Participants will also receive a digital badge micro credential and points towards their AGSM Certificate of Executive Management and Development, a recognition of their commitment to lifelong learning, articulating towards select AGSM MBA Programs.
