Just in time for the sunny weather, first and second grade had their bye rounds, so they'll have to wait another week before getting some much needed match play in - both grades will take on Campbelltown-Camden next weekend. Third grade however did manage to get a game, unfortunately going down to Manly-Warringah, despite a valiant effort from Maeve Galley (21) with the bat and Georgia Lomis-Futeran (2/25) with the ball.

It was a tight tussle for first grade this week, but they eventually fell to Parramatta who scored the winning runs with just one over to spare. UNSW were sent in by Parramatta and got off to a flying start thanks to Jack Attenborough, who scored a stylish 101 from 116 balls. He was ably supported by fellow opener Suffan Hassan (67) and a great cameo from star player Dan Christian, whose 21 from 19 balls included two sixes and a four. A good start to the bowling innings followed, with a quick wicket, but Parramatta were able to regroup and make the necessary runs in 49 overs. Hayden McLean was the pick of the bowlers, taking 2/49.

Our Raiders women had their first points scored against them this season, but they fired up by scoring plenty of their own, taking another huge win - this time against the UTS Giants - to remain undefeated so far in 2020 and continue along the way to defending their premiership. The men bounced back from their defeat last weekend to score a solid win over the Nepean Ducks and get their season back on track.
