The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering is delighted to welcome two new industry partners: LTS, a leading Sydney-based firm of registered surveyors, and Witt Consulting, leaders in delivering best practice temporary works for major infrastructure and construction projects.
LTS, founded in 1985, has built its brand on exceeding the expectations of our clients. It encapsulates the notion that a collective, diverse group of Registered Surveyors provide the platform to deliver expert advice and innovative solutions to complex surveying and land titling issues, in a consistent and timely manner.
In doing so, we reinforce the authenticity and professionalism of the Registered Surveyor brand and the importance of the role they play in maintaining the integrity of both the cadastre and the development industry in New South Wales.
We are passionate and committed to our profession and retain a strong focus on recruiting, training and mentoring survey graduates. In joining the UNSW CVEN industry partner program, we can provide a conduit between the academic and commercial arms of the industry and provide an outstanding career pathway for graduates.
Established in 2002 by UNSW CVEN alumnus Rahsn Witt, Witt Consulting provide expert engineering design advice to both the public and private sectors.
Witt Consulting offer design advice in Civil, Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering. Projects cover a wide variety of services including Heritage/Adaptive Re-use; Infrastructure and Rail, and Temporary works/CPS/IM.
Some of the most interesting designs undertaken at Witt Consulting involve the design of temporary structures. Temporary works involves the design of temporary structures to facilitate the construction of permanent structures. Witt Consulting have extensive experience in providing the cost and time efficient designs for temporary structures that can range from very simple to extremely complicated.
Witt Consulting have delivered advice for some of NSW’s highest profile projects, including Sydney Gateway, More Trains More Service, WestConnex New M5 St Peters Interchange, WestConnex M4E, WestConnex Rozelle Interchange, Airport East and North Precincts, Barangaroo, Green Square, Northern Beaches Hospital Road Upgrade, Sydney Football Stadium Redevelopment, Sydney Program Alliance and Sydney Light Rail.
Witt Consulting joined the UNSW CVEN industry partners program to help grow the engineers of tomorrow.
About the CVEN Industry Partners Program.
This program helps fund the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering’s outreach programs with potential future students in primary and high schools. This includes our very successful Primary School Maths Prize and Year 10 Engineering Work Experience Week. Funds are also used to run events that link our undergraduates with our Industry Partners, such as careers markets, industry breakfasts or career information events.
