2021 Infrabuild Steel Research Activity - Congratulations David Pham

Congratulations to our 2nd year undergraduate student David Pham for securing our 2021 Infrabuild Steel Research Activity!
David was selected for his detailed understanding of the Sydney steel mill - just from one excursion, his use of engineering vocabulary - despite English being his second language, his enthusiasm, and his capability to self-improvement.
David will receive a $5k annual stipend, and opportunities to complete summer internships in the Rolling Mill and Meltshop at Infrabuild Steel; do research assistantships and hopefully a future Honour’s project in Sophie’s team.
The selection panel members were AProf Sophie Primig, Zheshi Jin, from Infrabuild, and Gary Seaton, from Infrabuild HR.
