An extremely exciting accomplishment by our PhD students Ngozi Chidi-Egboka and Fatima Iqbal who have completed the Clinical Investigator Certification (CIC) Course offered on scholarship by the American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF).
This clinical training was designed for AAO Fellows as Academy Certified Clinical Investigator program with the main focus to equip Academy Fellows with skills required to conduct rigorous sponsored, clinical trials within private practice and institution-based settings.
The official recognition ceremony and networking reception organised by American Academy of Optometry foundation was held on Thursday, November 4 during Academy 2021 Boston; Professor Fiona Stapleton acknowledges Ngozi Chidi-Egboka's certificate of completion as a member of the Inaugural CIC class, all the way from Sydney, Australia to mark this celebration!
