We are delighted to share that the CSIRO Next Generation Graduates grant application on Trusted Automation for Industrial Internet of Things has been successful.
In this program, QUT and UNSW will partner up to address skills shortages in emerging technology industries with $836,000 for new research scholarships in blockchain, machine learning and the internet of things (IoT). Students will work in multidisciplinary groups with industry and research leaders to solve real-world challenges proposed by program partners. Congratulations to our IFCYBER members Prof. Salil Kanhere and Dr. Helen Paik, and to our QUT partners Prof. Raja Jurdak, Prof. Alistair Barros, Prof. Sagadevan Mundree and Dr. Gowri Sankar Ramachandran, and their industry partners Automi, Olam, SupraOracles, Xiippy, and Interport Cargo Services Pty Ltd.
