uDASH at the Melbourne Grand Prix

Shane was part of a tech talk at the Grand Prix, highlighting the highly collaborative nature of his work
Associate Professor Shane Keating, uDASH Space and Defence Theme lead, showcased the IceCube project at the F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne this year.
The IceCube project is a collaboration between uDASH, UK-based satellite company Spire Global, and the Australian Antarctic Program Partnership (AAPP) with the aim of using artificial intelligence and small satellites (cubesats) to measure Antarctic sea ice from space.
Shane was invited to present his research at the UK Innovation exhibit, which highlighted UK-Australian research collaborations, and presented a “Tech Talk” at the Grand Prix Tech Park.
