Seminar Series: Ancient Cyanobacteria

Professor Michelle Gehringer from the University of Kaiserlautern-Landau in Germany gave a fascinating presentation to the ACA on ancient Cyanobacteria! Her research explores how Cyanobacteria may have induced the oxygenation of the Earth’s atmosphere 2.7 billion years ago during the late Archaean era.
