SYDNEY - In a significant academic interaction, ProMO was graced by the visit of Prof. Martin Green, a globally recognized name in the domain of photovoltaics. As the Scientia Professor at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and the Director of the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics
The day began with Prof. Yansong providing a comprehensive introduction to the research topics of ProMO, especially the end-of-life PV panel recycling. Prof. Green, with his vast knowledge and years of experience, listened intently and offered invaluable suggestions to further the group's research pursuits.
A significant portion of the visit was dedicated to Prof. Green sharing some of his experiences and insights. His group at UNSW has achieved notable feats in photovoltaics, including holding the record for silicon solar cell efficiency for 30 of the last 39 years. This contribution is hailed as one of the “Top Ten” Milestones in the history of solar photovoltaics.
