Centre for Critical Digital Infrastructure

Personalise

Welcome to the Centre for Critical Digital Infrastructure (cCDI). We are based at the University of New South Wales, Sydney Kensington Campus within the School of Computer Science and Engineering. Our research-based centre aims to address Industry’s critical digital Infrastructure challenges by building relationships with key industry stakeholders. This enables industry and academics to collaborate and realise shared benefits towards securing Australia's future of Critical Digital Infrastructure.

Our mission

The centre for Critical Digital Infrastructure (cCDI) aims to actively engage and partner with Industry to develop and navigate AI, IOT and digitalisation to address Industry’s specific critical infrastructure needs. Through our multi-disciplinary approach, we can advance and optimise the impact of our research and development.

Our vision

Achieve global impact through research, education, and social engagement. Equip and upskill industry in the adoption of AI-driven IoT systems

A little about me…

I was a principal research scientist and research project leader at CSIRO Digital Productivity Flagship and received my Ph.D from UNSW. I’m a recipient of multiple research grants from the Australian Research Council, CSIRO and industries such as CISCO, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and NVIDIA in the areas of smart buildings, cybersecurity, smart farming, and smart transport systems.

I’m a senior member of ACM and IEEE, and an associate editor of ACM TOSN, the general chair of CPS IoT Week 2020, co chair the program committee of ACM/IEEE IPSN 2023 and ACM Web Conference (WWW 2023, Systems and Infrastructure for Web, Mobile Web, and Web of Things track).

In this welcome pack you will find information about the centre’s strategy, and focus areas. Please contact us if you believe there is an opportunity for us to work together or if you would like more information.
