How our platforms are organised
myResearch SharePoint is our local intranet. It's a secure repository and requires a zID to access. Since 2023, we've migrated all important internal resources onto this platform. Pages are managed by individual teams within DVCRE and are constantly updated with the latest tools and information.
Be sure to bookmark the page so you can find it again.
unsw.edu.au/research is our public website and is primarily focused on engaging external audiences and bringing them into our research ecosystem. It's the place where we celebrate our areas of deep expertise, outline our partnership models, promote our facilities, recruit HDR candidates, and spotlight our entrepreneurial activities. This space is managed and curated by the Office of the DVCRE.

Research funding
Research Grants & Contracts (RGC) links researchers to funding agencies (ARC, NHMRC, MRFF) and supports the preparation and submission of grant applications. It also oversees the negotiation and administration of research awards, contracts and consulting.
The Research Strategy Office (RSO) works with researchers to identify funding opportunities and provides strategic guidance for the development of grant applications, collaborations and partnerships.
Ethics & Compliance (RECS)
Research Ethics & Compliance Support ensures that all research activities conducted within UNSW meet the highest ethical standards and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Our expertise includes:
Research training
The Division runs a regular calendar of programs and workshops designed to elevate both your research and professional capabilities. Learn how to promote your research, nurture partnerships with industry, build your public profile, improve your tech skills and develop the next generation of researcher as an HDR supervisor.
Graduate Research School (GRS)
The Graduate Research School provides leadership, support and central administration for HDR candidates and their supervisors. We work closely with faculties and schools to coordinate and manage HDR admissions, scholarships, candidatures and thesis examinations, and offer a range of development opportunities to enhance the HDR candidate experience.
