Call for participation
Our two-day conference will bring together community activists, social entrepreneurs, economists, academics, lawyers, regulators and students.
We invite all prospective participants to be creative with your proposals. Although we have invited some speakers in advance, the final programme will depend upon what you submit. It will be crafted with an eye to the practical lessons for projects and politics, including a plenary session on ‘The City as Commons’ (exploring how different projects and ideas intersect with each other) and a second plenary exploring the idea of a Coalition (whether for political advocacy, policy development or networking purposes). Finally, the program will also include time for open-space session.
Our conference's guiding question: How can we reimagine work, exchange, money, care, law and our relationship with the natural world through the prism of a new economy?
The six dimensions of the new economy in this question will be used to structure the conference.
