AAH’s patented alloys outperform requirements and competitor products made using conventional infrastructure. We have a 300,000-unit supply deal with a defence prime, Thales, for ADF approval.
Custom metal-alloy solutions for engineering applications for advanced manufacturing and next-gen engineering.
Over the last decade, our scientific and commercial founding team have developed a suite of IP innovations spanning brass, stainless steel and precious-metal alloys with product solutions across defence, construction, engineering and energy sectors.

Bright BrassTM, was designed by AAH, in partnership with Thales, to meet the higher strength requirements of ammunition for the new 6.8mm squad rifle adopted by many NATO countries.
Bright BrassTM is a multi-use material that can be manufactured into munitions using existing infrastructure, at 10% less cost than traditional brass.
AAH can licence Bright BrassTM internationally for munitions production (royalty stream) and plans to establish a Sovereign Defence Foundry.
-
- The Australian Defence Force (ADF) and other nations require high-performance weaponry to maintain strategic advantage.
- Traditional brass munitions have reached their performance ceiling, unable to meet the requirements of next-generation squad weapons.
-
- AAH’s first customer is defence prime, Thales, for Bright BrassTM munitions.
- Its patented technologies are used in energy, engineering and construction sectors.
-
- Thales/ADF product validation (TRL6–7)
- Bright BrassTM pre-supply contract (Thales: 300,000 products/8 tonnes of material)
- Pilot project (Thales) – Streamlined/sovereign manufacture of munitions products
