  • Skilled Companions provides a scalable solution, tailored to community and industry needs, that complements human care with on-demand psychosocial support for clients and staff. Its B2B-SaaS model generates high margins from subscriptions and prescriptions and allows costs to be claimed under government programs. Additional income sources include licensing, white-label versions, and transactional sales.

    • Care-providers can’t meet the increasing need for community-based support for mental health and loneliness, especially in regional/rural areas.
    • Existing AI-chatbots are limited in their capacity for reliable, proactive support and don’t understand or address diverse experiences such as ageing or dementia.
    • Care-providers, including home/residential aged care, disability and mental health professionals, requiring accessible 24/7 psychosocial support for clients.
    • Since its spinout six months ago, Skilled Companions has secured AUD 1.1 million in grant funding, a lead investor, and AUD2.6 million in commitments from customers and corporate partnerships, with plans for an Australian rollout.
