Abdul Basit Khan is currently a PhD student at School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia. His research is related to real time data-driven emergency control of power system considering battery energy storage systems. He also has a 5 years industrial experience in automotive industry as an algorithm engineer. He received his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore, Pakistan in 2013 and masters degree from Soongsil University, South Korea in 2017.
