Research foci and skills: I am an infectious disease epidemiologist with a research focus on vaccine-preventable disease epidemiology and immunisation program evaluation. I use quantitative epidemiological data to identifying infectious disease risks and factors associated with vaccine uptake in at-risk populations and the use of routinely collected data to evaluate immunisation programs. I have a particular interest in identifying travel-associated infectious disease risks and migrant, refugee and international traveller immunisation gaps. I have experience clinical, behavioural and epidemiological research, including mixed methods approaches to understanding immunisation gaps.
HDR supervision
Potential future PhD students interested in epidemiological projects should contact me via email. Available projects require strong quantitative skills. Also available to supervise ILP or Masters students.
