Ms Clair Hodge

Clair is at the helm of the key enabling teams of risk, safety, governance, legal & compliance, conduct & integrity and national security.

Clair has the advantage of having worked in both private enterprise and in Government, having served 10 years in senior positions in the NSW Government sector. During her 15 years as a senior executive in the airports sector in Australia and overseas, she was responsible for legal, governance, risk, insurance, contracts, procurement and internal audit functions.

Clair is currently a director of UNSW’s subsidiary, Scientia Clinical Research Limited. SCR is the first and only dedicated Phase 1, Healthy Volunteer clinical trial unit that operates as a Not for Profit.

As well as being a UNSW alumnus, Clair is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australia and New Zealand School of Government Executive Fellows Program and the Chief Executive Women Leaders Program. She is also a Fellow of the Governance Institute and has also served as a board member and guest lecturer.

Clair is an advocate for the importance of line two assurance functions as enablers in supporting effective decision making.
