Dr Gillian Scott

Gillian is a Project Manager for ACTUP-PNG, a DFAT Centre for Health Security-funded project. ACTUP works collaboratively with in-country colleagues to implement point-of-care testing, improved treatment and drug resistance surveillance for people living with HIV in Papua New Guinea and enhance Triple Elimination of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B for improved maternal and child health. Gillian has a background in laboratory-based virology research and infectious diseases surveillance and over the last decade has been providing high-level research and project management expertise and support to NHMRC, Cancer Institute NSW and DFAT-funded projects and programs in infectious diseases, translational research and global health.
