Dr Jared Campbell is a research fellow the graduate school of biomedical engineering. He applies the hyperspectral assessment of cell autofluorescence to study the interactions of ageing, stem cell depletion and chronic disease. His current projects include work on mesenchymal and neural stem cells, motor neuron disease, islet cell biology, and infertility. He is additionally involved in the adaptation of this technology for non-invasive diagnostic tests and health assessment.
