I have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and MSc in Biostatistics, and received post-doctoral training in nutrition and cardiovascular epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. I hold a Scientia Associate Professor appointment at the George Institute for Global Health, University of New South Wales. My research and teaching focuses on reducing poor diet-related disease burden through implementing innovative and sustainable food environment interventions, modelling the impact of population-level food regulations and policies, and determining the role of nutritional factors for cardiometabolic diseases prevention. My research have been published in top medical and nutrition journals including Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology, BMJ, Circulation, and American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. I have >140 publications, with total research funding of >$14 million to date.
