I am a Senior Research Associate in Energy Systems with the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, UNSW Australia.

I was awarded the UNSW-Tsinghua University Collaborative Research Fund - Seed Grants in 2019 as the lead investigator for the project of Localized Energy Transaction Market Mechanism for Future Digital Grid System. (Only 3 successful applicants under the same theme area of digital grid). I was also jointly granted the Interdisciplinary Seed Funding Awards in 2020 and 2021 by the UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute. I served as a key investigator in several other industry projects.

I received my B. Eng from Northeast Electric Power University, China in 2011, M. Eng from Zhejiang University, China in 2014 and Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2018, all in Electrical Engineering.

My research interests include: 1) localized energy transaction; 2) electricity retailing; 3) data mining in smart grid; 4) renewable energy integration; 5) power markets. Until 2021, I have more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, including IEEE Transactions journal papers and IEEE conference papers.

I am an Associate Editor for the journal of Energy Conversion and Economics.

I served as a Chief Guest Editor for the journal of IET Renewable Power Generation (special issue on “Enhancing Hosting Capability for Renewable Energy Generation in Active Distribution Networks”, 2021).

I served as a Guest Editor for the journal of IET Energy Systems Integration (special issue on “Local Energy Markets for Local Energy Systems Integration”, 2021).
