Kaixuan Chen is a Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW Sydney. Before that, she was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Aalborg University, Denmark. She is also a faculty member in ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADMS). Kaixuan got her doctorate at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW) in April 2020. Her supervisors were Prof. Lina Yao, UNSWDr. Liming Zhu, Data61, CSIRO, and Dr. Xiwei (Sherry) Xu, Data61, CSIRO.She earned a Bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) in 2015, majoring in Telecommunication Engineering. Her scientific research interest is in time-series forecasting, explainable AI, and sensor-based human activity recognition.
