Despite consideration many well-developed strategies for C&D waste management in Australia, the implementation of these methods in practice is far from optimum. The main barrier for promotion of waste management in Australian construction industry is lack of knowledge about a comprehensive applicable plan for waste minimization and concern about the extra cost of processing for reuse or recycling, and the quality of reused or recycled materials. The aim of this research is to understand all contributing factors affecting waste in Australian construction industry as well as drawing a policy plan to minimize Construction and Demolition Waste regarding cost and time associated with.
