Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering

I am a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE) and Research Co-ordinator at the Collaboration on Energy and Environmental Markets (CEEM)

My research is focused on increasing deployment and integration of distributed renewable energy generation into the electricity system and includes technical and economic data analysis, qualitative user research and policy approaches for a user-centred energy transition. Particular interests include distributed photovoltaics, demand response, home energy management and energy user behaviours, domestic and community energy storage, Virtual Power Plants, embedded networks and mini-grids, solar potential assessment, electric vehicles, energy resilience and community renewable energy.
