Mohammad is a research associate in the Centre for Advanced Solid and Liquid Based Electronics and Optics (CASLEO) under the supervision of professor Kourosh Kalantar- zadeh at the School of Chemical Engineering, UNSW Sydney. He received the PhD degree in Materials Science & Engineering from UNSW Sydney in 2018 and the M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Iran University of Science & Technology (IUST) in 2011. Mohammad has worked as a researcher in the Centre for Smart Supramolecules (CSS) at Pohang University of Science & Technology (POSTECH), South Korea.
His research interests include synthesis and characterization of new functionalized liquid metals and their heterostructures for applications as sensor, photocatalyst and so on. Environmentally-friendly piezoelectric materials, especially 1D piezoelectric nanostructures, as well as nanoporous materials and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are the other research interests of Mohammad.
