Research Associate
Engineering
Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering

Zahra holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Sydney. After completing her PhD, Zahra joined UNSW's School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE) as a Research Associate. Currently, her research focuses on data analysis to investigate the technical and economic impacts of distributed energy resources on households. Zahra's expertise spans home energy management, machine learning, optimisation, and energy data analysis. Her research interests include distributed energy resource integration, demand side management, residential and commercial electricity load forecasting and energy storage.
