Learn from the best
We have one of the largest groups of clinical and scientific researchers in reproductive medicine in the southern hemisphere. The laboratory-based academics, teachers and researchers that design and teach these modules have extensive research and publication records, which demonstrates the quality and skill mix of our team. Many are in active clinical practice in disciplines as diverse as obstetrics, gynaecology, reproductive medicine, gynaecological oncology, minimal access surgery, primary care and medico-legal advocacy. Others are thought leaders in scientific disciplines as diverse as fetal and maternal physiology, reproductive biology, health economics and epidemiology, molecular and cellular oncology and biostatistics. Our connections with the real world of ‘hands-on’ medicine brings validation across all the courses on offer.
Leverage our industry connections
At UNSW, we have the opportunity to work closely with some of Australia’s finest hospitals, research institutes and healthcare organisations. These partnerships allow us to continuously improve the way medicine is taught and how it’s practiced. We’re constantly evolving, analysing the way modern healthcare is delivered and capitalising on new health technologies and insights to integrate them into our courses, research and clinical environments. Research and collaboration opportunities are available for students in our internationally recognised research centres and institutes, which are translating ground-breaking research into cures, treatment strategies and therapies.
