This course is designed for those who have successfully completed the Mini-COGE and aims to facilitate your progression into further postgraduate study. Completion of this course, in combination with the Mini-COGE, is equivalent to the postgraduate program EDST5808.
In this course, you’ll apply what you’ve learned from the Mini-COGE, engage with online resources and complete two written assessments to demonstrate your learning. You will continue to explore key concepts in gifted education, focusing on sub-groups of gifted students, creativity and policy and advocacy.
The successful completion of this unit will equip you to gain familiarity with who gifted students are, how to identify gifted students, how best to serve gifted students, and the numerous professional documents relating to gifted education.
