The AGSM Graduate Certificate in Change Management is a complete stand-alone qualification and can be undertaken as a pathway to an AGSM Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. It has been designed for leaders to gain the foundational knowledge required for change management success. Providing a thorough grounding in core business disciplines and prepares students to move beyond functional areas and to begin to view organisations holistically for successful and impactful leadership positions. 

This program is designed for professionals looking to develop their career. It is ideal for those who are looking to accelerate in their chosen career or those who have become interested in learning again and bringing that learning to their workplace. This short management qualification is also suited to those making a career transition and/or changing their career path.

Graduates will be challenged to think critically and to develop useful insights about the concepts and principles on making better change decisions. This includes how to develop and successfully implement strategy, aligning business decisions to operating models, governance and culture, leading for high performance, the significance of power and influence, models for leading change and mastering the complexity and plurality of management. Current and emerging approaches and frameworks for change management are embedded throughout the program to help establish an alignment between leadership and organisation purpose.

Program structure

The AGSM Graduate Certificates are a part-time program and can be completed anywhere between 8 months to 2 years. Should you choose to continue your studies the certificate can articulate into an MBA degree*.
