Future You is excited to announce a new partnership with Australian educational game developer Arludo to create four gamified learning modules for primary school classrooms, launching in 2026.
Drawing on Arludo’s award winning approach in educational game design, the modules will introduce key concepts from the Australian Curriculum within engaging, real-world contexts - helping students to see how science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) connect to their everyday lives and future careers.
Research shows that, when learning feels real, students become more engaged and confident - and this confidence shapes their early attitudes towards STEM careers. Gamified learning boosts engagement and helps students connect classroom content to real-world challenges. By building confidence and engagement through gamified learning, Future You and Arludo aim to spark curiosity and confidence in classrooms across the country.
Associate Professor Michael Kasumovic, founder and CEO of Arludo, said:
“This is a really exciting project as we’re using video games to help students understand how what they are learning is connected to different career pathways. It’s a great way to show how STEM is everywhere and how everyone belongs in STEM. Nothing like this has been done before!”
Future You Program Ambassador Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith echoed Michael’s enthusiasm, adding:
“I’m thrilled that Future You are partnering with Arludo to bring STEM learning to life in such an innovative way. When students can explore real-world problems through play, they not only deepen their understanding but also discover their own potential. These modules will help young people see themselves in STEM careers and understand that their curiosity and creativity are powerful tools for shaping the future."
The four modules will be rolled out to schools across Australia in 2026 and will be available for free to educators and parents across the country.
