Dr Marina van Leeuwen, a cancer epidemiologist in the Cancer Epidemiology Research Unit, has led new research that synthesises the evidence of cardiovascular toxicity of targeted therapies for cancer.

The findings may assist clinicians and patients when managing cardiovascular health.

The research was performed in collaboration with experts in oncology, cardiovascular disease and people affected by cancer.
